Millie Bobby Brown Becomes a Mother

Whether you know her as Eleven, Enola Holmes, Michelle Greene, or from her beauty brand Florence, Millie Bobby Brown is a very popular individual. On May 18, 2024, she married Jake Bongiovi in a beautiful ceremony in Tuscany, Italy. The couple has consistently prioritized their privacy, often offering only brief glimpses into their life together.

Millie has expressed that Jake is incredibly supportive of her dreams of motherhood, and the couple shares a mutual excitement about building a family in the future. As they embark on this new chapter, their focus remains on nurturing their relationship and enjoying their personal milestones together.

After this change, a little over a year later, on August 21st, 2025, the newlyweds posted that they had adopted a baby girl, marking their parenthood. In their post, they stated, “This summer, we welcomed our sweet baby girl through adoption. We are beyond excited to embark on this beautiful next chapter of parenthood in both peace and privacy.”

This may not come as much of a surprise to the public, as Millie has long expressed her dream of becoming a mother, even before meeting her now-husband. In a candid conversation on the Smartless podcast, she shared that her own mother had her first child at a young age, a life experience that deeply influenced Millie’s own aspirations. 

Reflecting on her upbringing, she explained, “I wanted to be a mom just like the way my mom was to me.” For Millie, family has always been a central part of her vision for the future.

Alongside her thriving career as both an actress and producer, Millie has been open about her desire to start a family sooner rather than later. She has even expressed hopes of having a large family, drawing inspiration from her own childhood and Jake’s as well—both grew up in households with four children. 

This shared background, she explained, makes the idea of raising a big family together feel natural and meaningful. Throughout this new chapter in the newlyweds life, the public will hope they can work to grow and enjoy this new additive to their possibly ever growing family.
