Love is in the air, and on the eve of his 13th NFL season, Kansas City Chiefs star player Travis Kelce surprised fans with a very different kind of ring. Last month, the three time Super Bowl champion proposed to singer Taylor Swift, and social media hasn’t stopped buzzing since.

“I’m living life, living on a high,” Kelce said, according to reporters at The New York Times. Now, Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are seeming to be the two of the most talked about names in pop culture. Their relationship went public back in 2023, when Swift was seen at a Chiefs game, and since then, the couple has been hard to miss. From the Eras Tour to the Super Bowl, the couple’s appearances together have been far from uncommon.

“Swifties”, known for their enthusiasm, have already begun speculating what their wedding might be like, from A-List guests to even surprise performances. Although no official wedding date has been announced, Kelce admitted to feeling “giddy” when talking about it, adding on his podcast, New Heights that sharing the news has been “really fun.”

For now, Kelce’s focus remains on the Kansas City Chiefs. The NFL team began their season last Friday in São Paulo, Brazil, against the Los Angeles Chargers on Friday night. Still, the attention surrounding their engagement won’t be stopping anytime soon.
